Connect Zidi to your CRM and the tools your team already uses

Zidi records who watched your video, how far they got and whether they clicked. These integrations put that where your team already works: eight CRMs, Zapier and Make, Slack, your own tracking pixels, and embed guides for the places you publish. Connecting takes a few clicks and nothing to map.

How CRM sync works

When you launch a personalized video campaign, every recipient is created or updated as a contact in your CRM, matched on their email address, and the personalized link Zidi built for them is logged against that contact.

A note or activity is written when the recipient opens their video page, as long as they have not started the video or clicked your call-to-action by the time Zidi syncs, about a minute after their last activity. A completed entry is written when they finish it or click your call-to-action — the 25, 50 and 80 percent marks are listed inside that entry rather than written one at a time, so a campaign leaves at most two engagement records per person. Copper with activities and automations turned on is the exception: it logs opened, 50 and 80 percent, completed and CTA clicked as separate activities.

For a video you share directly rather than through a campaign, Zidi writes a single note the first time an identified viewer crosses 50 percent and then updates that same note at 80 and 100 percent, so a full watch leaves one clean entry instead of three. Copper with activities and automations turned on logs 50, 80 and 100 percent as separate activities instead.

Three rules hold everywhere. Only identified viewers trigger a write — campaign recipients and people on a tracked share link — and anonymous views stay in your Zidi analytics. Everything moves one direction, Zidi into your CRM, apart from Copper's optional audience import. And every integration on this page is on the Pro plan.

Tracking pixels

Add your own pixels to a public video page. Each one loads only after the viewer grants consent, and all seven receive the same five events: page view, video start, progress, completion and CTA click.

Google Analytics 4

Send page views, video starts, progress, completions and CTA clicks from your public video pages to your own GA4 property.

Add to any video

Google Tag Manager

Load your own GTM container on your video pages and route Zidi's five viewer events into whatever tags you already manage there.

Add to any video

Meta Pixel

Fire your Meta Pixel on video views, progress and CTA clicks so video watchers can feed the audiences you retarget.

Add to any video

LinkedIn Insight Tag

Add your LinkedIn Insight Tag to your video pages and record viewer events against your own LinkedIn campaigns.

Add to any video

X (Twitter) Pixel

Add your X pixel so views, watch progress and CTA clicks on your video pages reach your own X advertising account.

TikTok Pixel

Add your TikTok pixel to your public video pages and send the same five viewer events to TikTok.

Pinterest Tag

Add your Pinterest tag to your video pages so views and CTA clicks are attributed in your own Pinterest analytics.

Website embeds

A Zidi embed is a first-party iframe, so it works on any site that accepts embed code. These eight have a step-by-step guide in the app.

WordPress

Paste the Zidi embed code into a Custom HTML block and the player renders inline, with viewer analytics still reporting back to Zidi.

Guide

Webflow

Drop the embed code into a Webflow Embed element to play a Zidi video anywhere on the page, at any size you set.

Guide

Wix

Add an Embed HTML element in the Wix editor and paste the Zidi snippet to host the video on your own page.

Guide

Squarespace

Use a Code block on any Squarespace page and paste the Zidi embed code to play the video inline.

Guide

Carrd

Add an Embed element to your Carrd one-pager and paste the Zidi snippet to put the video above the fold.

Guide

Notion

Use an Embed block in Notion so a Zidi video plays inside the page instead of sending readers somewhere else.

Guide

Substack

Add the Zidi embed to a Substack post so subscribers can watch without leaving the newsletter.

Guide

Linktree

Add your Zidi share link to Linktree so a tap opens the video page with your call-to-action on it.

Questions people ask before connecting

Which plan do I need?

Every integration on this page is on the Pro plan. The check is server-side and runs when you start the connection, when the provider sends you back, and again each time Zidi writes — so a downgrade stops the syncing rather than leaving a half-connected account behind.

Does anything write back into Zidi?

Only one opt-in thing. Every write goes one direction, Zidi into the other tool, and Zidi looks records up by email address to match recipients. The exception is Copper's audience import, which reads the People you pick by tag or contact type into a campaign. When a campaign launches, a record the CRM already has is updated from your campaign list: the name and company in HubSpot, Zoho and Freshsales, the name and company (as Department) in Salesforce, and the name and phone in ActiveCampaign. Close, Monday.com and Copper leave a matched record's name and company alone. Everything else Zidi writes is its own properties, notes, activities or tasks, and the worst case for a bad connection is a contact that does not get its note.

Whose views get recorded?

Only identified viewers: campaign recipients, and people who arrive on a tracked share link. An anonymous visitor to a public video page is counted in your Zidi analytics and produces no CRM record, no Slack message and no Zap.

Can a Zap create something in Zidi?

Not today. Zidi's Zapier app publishes five triggers and three lookups, and the lookups are read-only searches — a Zap can react to what happens in Zidi, and it can read a video or a campaign recipient, but it cannot create one.

My CRM is not on the list. Can I still use it?

Often, yes, through Zapier. Zidi has no direct Pipedrive integration, for example, but a Zidi trigger can reach Pipedrive through Zapier and create or update records there. The same applies to anything else Zapier connects to.

How do I disconnect?

Open Integrations in Zidi, pick the tool and choose Disconnect. Zidi revokes the access at the provider where the provider allows it, then deletes the stored tokens or key. Records already written stay where they are — nothing is removed from your CRM.
