Use Zidi inside Claude and ChatGPT

Connect your Zidi account once. Then ask Claude or ChatGPT, in plain English, for your recordings, transcripts, viewer analytics and campaigns, and it answers from your own account.

What you can ask

Zidi gives the assistant ten tools, and it chooses which to use from what you ask.

Find and read

  • List your recent recordings, newest first, with their dates, length and share link.
  • Search your recordings by the words in their titles, descriptions and transcripts.
  • Get one recording’s details, and its AI summary if Zidi has already made one.
  • Read what was said in a recording, with timings, once its captions have been generated in Zidi.

Measure

  • See how a recording performed over a period: views, unique viewers, watch time, completion and call-to-action clicks.
  • See who watched past a percentage you choose, such as 80%. Identified viewers are listed by email, with name and company for campaign recipients. Anonymous viewers are never listed.
  • List your video email campaigns with their status and recipient count.
  • See how a campaign is doing: views, the recipients who opened it, average watch percentage and call-to-action clicks.

Act

  • Get a recording’s share link, or a tracked link for one person so their views show up under their email.
  • Start a campaign from a recording, as a draft. You add the recipients and launch it in Zidi.

Everything the assistant reads comes from your own Zidi account. Nothing is generated: it sees the summaries and transcripts Zidi has already made. No tool sends anything to anyone: a share link comes back to you, and a campaign is created only as a draft.

Connect in Claude

For Claude on the web, the Claude desktop app and the Claude mobile app.

Add Zidi to Claude
  1. Click Add Zidi to Claude above. Zidi’s page in Claude’s connector directory opens.
  2. Click Connect. If you’re signed out of Claude, the button reads Sign in to add.
  3. Sign in to Zidi when Claude asks you to.
  4. Click Allow access.

You can also find Zidi from inside Claude. Open Customize, then Connectors, select Discover, and search for Zidi.

On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds the connector for the organization first, under Organization settings → Connectors. On a Team plan, a member who sees Request instead of a connect button can click it to ask an Owner.

Connect in Claude Code

Run this in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http zidi https://app.zidi.ai/api/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code and choose Zidi to sign in.

Connect in ChatGPT

  1. Open chatgpt.com/plugins and click Add.
  2. Choose Create custom MCP server.
  3. Name it Zidi, enter https://app.zidi.ai/api/mcp as the server URL, and set Authentication to OAuth.
  4. Click Create, then Link account.
  5. Sign in to Zidi when asked, and click Allow access.

Zidi is listed in Claude’s connector directory but not yet in ChatGPT’s, so in ChatGPT you add it by its address, as above.

Plans and privacy

Every tool works on every Zidi plan, within your plan’s usual limits. The one exception is a campaign that Copper sends for you: creating one needs the Pro plan.

Each assistant sees only the Zidi account you connect it to. To disconnect, remove the Zidi connector in Claude, or the Zidi plugin in ChatGPT. Zidi’s dashboard does not have its own disconnect control yet.
