Zidi + Zapier
Send video engagement anywhere. Zidi is a public app in the Zapier App Directory: pick a trigger, pick an app — Zapier connects 5,000+ apps, by Zapier's count — and every view, click and milestone flows there without code.
Connect in three steps
Start a Zap
Open Zidi on Zapier and choose a trigger, or use a starter automation below. In Zidi, Integrations → Zapier lists the same starters. (Pro plan required.)
Sign in to Zidi
Zapier opens a Zidi sign-in window. Approve access once; Zapier remembers the connection.
Pick the action and turn it on
Choose the app that should receive the event, map a field or two, test, publish. That’s it — no webhooks to configure.
Five triggers
Each trigger is delivered as a signed webhook as soon as Zidi queues it, and carries the viewer details you need to act — Zapier does not have to poll for it.
| Trigger | Fires when | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Video Viewed | A campaign recipient opens their personalized video link. | Viewer name, email, company, campaign name, video title |
| CTA Clicked | A recipient clicks the call-to-action on a video page. | Viewer name, email, company, CTA label, campaign name |
| Watch Threshold Reached | A recipient watches past the threshold you choose (50%, 80% or 100%). | Viewer name, email, company, watch percentage, campaign name |
| New Campaign Launched | You launch a personalized video campaign. | Campaign name, video title, recipient count |
| New Video Uploaded | A new video is added to your library. | Video title, views, a 7-day download link |
Three lookups for later steps
Find Video
Looks a video up by its ID — title, duration, views, share link.
Find Video Engagement
Returns a video's engagement stats: views, average watch percent, CTA clicks.
Find Campaign Recipients
Lists a campaign's recipients with their personalized links and engagement.
Starter automations
Each link opens Zapier with the Zidi trigger and the other app already chosen. Sign in, map a field or two, turn it on.
New video → Slack message
Get a direct message in Slack when a new video lands in your library.
Video viewed → Google Sheets row
Log every identified viewer — name, email, company, campaign — as a spreadsheet row.
CTA clicked → Gmail follow-up
Send a follow-up email the moment a recipient clicks your call-to-action.
Watch threshold → HubSpot contact
Create a HubSpot contact when a viewer watches past the threshold you set.
Campaign launched → Teams message
Post to a Microsoft Teams channel the moment a campaign goes out.
Good to know
Zapier asks me to sign in to Zidi — which account?
The Zidi account whose videos and campaigns you want to automate. Zapier keeps that connection until you revoke it from either side. Zapier integrations are part of the Pro plan.
A view happened but nothing fired?
Triggers fire for identified viewers only — recipients who open a personalized campaign link. Anonymous visits to a public share page are not sent to Zapier; track those with the analytics pixels instead.
How do I disconnect?
In Zidi, open Integrations → Zapier → Revoke Access. Then in Zapier, open App connections, choose Zidi and delete the connection, so paused Zaps do not keep an unused login around.
Ready to automate your follow-ups?
Record once, personalize for everyone, and let Zapier carry each view, click and milestone into the tools your team already uses.
Other Zidi integrations
Campaign recipients become HubSpot contacts matched by email, and video engagement lands on the contact as five custom properties Zidi creates plus a note.
Recipients are matched or created as Contacts; opens, completions and CTA clicks are logged as completed Tasks on the activity timeline.
Paste a Copper API key and the login email that made it. Recipients become People and engagement is logged as Activities on the contact.
