Video campaign
One recording sent to many named recipients, each receiving their own page and link, with engagement reported per person.
A video campaign sends a single recording to a list of named recipients, giving each one their own page and link. It is the middle ground between a video message, which goes to one person, and a published video, which goes to anyone.
The point is per-person measurement. Because each recipient has a distinct link, the report is not "forty views" but a list of who opened it, how far each got and who pressed the button. That converts a send into a prioritised follow-up list, which is the entire commercial argument for the format.
Campaigns are subject to the same rules as any bulk email, and the reputable implementations enforce them: an unsubscribe mechanism, suppression of people who have opted out, and limits on volume. A campaign tool without those is a liability rather than a feature.
The honest limitation is that the video is the same for everyone. The personalisation is in the page and the link, not in the recording, and copy that implies otherwise is the most common overclaim in this category.
The unglamorous part is list hygiene, and it decides whether campaigns keep working. Sending to addresses that bounce, or to people who unsubscribed from something else last month, damages the reputation of the sending domain and takes months to repair. A smaller list of people who are expecting to hear from you outperforms a larger one on every measure that matters, including the ones you cannot see.
Timing is the lever most teams ignore. A campaign that lands when the recipients are at their desks is watched at a materially higher rate than one that arrives overnight, and unlike almost every other variable it costs nothing to change. Send a small batch at two different times before committing the whole list.
